Summer fun at Thorpeness
During the summer holidays, Thorpeness hosts a full programme of events for the whole family to enjoy. Events include tennis tournaments and tuition, beach barbecues, family suppers and discos, treasure hunts and regattas on the picturesque Meare (watch out for pirates!) Thorpeness Country Club has six all weather courts and 3 grass courts (during July and August only). The courts are for the use of Country Club members and their guests, and resident’s of the Apartments and Thorpeness Hotel (excluding July & August).
From time to time Tennis Coaching Courses are arranged for members and non-members, featuring such coaches as Christine Janes (nee Truman) and Amanda Janes (current British number 2). Please contact charlie@thorpeness.co.uk for further details of the next tennis break.
